Introduction to Geomembrane

     An 8-meter-wide 0.75mm HDPE geomembrane is made from 100% high-quality virgin polyethylene resin, processed by advanced techniques. The main components consist of 97.5% high-density polyethylene, along with approximately 2.5% carbon black and trace amounts of anti-oxidant, heat-stabilizer and other additives. There are no fillers or expanders. Its thickness is 0.75mm and the width is 8 meters. This product has strong anti-seepage properties, effectively preventing liquid penetration; it possesses UV resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and can be used stably outdoors; it has good flexibility, facilitating construction and laying, and is suitable for various fields such as water conservancy, environmental protection, and aquaculture for anti-seepage projects.



Application fields of Geomembrane

I. Water Conservancy Engineering Field

(1) Anti-seepage of Small Reservoirs

In a small mountainous reservoir project, an 8m Wide 0.75mm HDPE Geomembrane was used as the anti-seepage layer. Its 0.75mm thickness ensured the anti-seepage effect while having good flexibility, which could fit the complex base of the reservoir. The 8-meter width reduced the splicing workload and lowered the leakage risk. Application Case of 0.75mm Geomembrane

  1. Qatar Fish Pond: In August 2020, a customer in Qatar sought a solution for the frequent illness of fish in the natural fishpond and high operating costs. After communication, it was recommended to use 100% natural material, 0.75mm thick HDPE geotextile membrane. After providing samples of 0.5mm, 0.75mm, and 1.00mm and the third-party test report, the customer chose the 0.75mm product. Due to the inability of the engineer to provide on-site guidance due to the pandemic, the installation and welding were completed through online video. Compared to not using the geotextile membrane before, the water quality of the fishpond became stable after use, the incidence of fish diseases decreased significantly, and the operating costs decreased. 

  2. Mongolia Mining Area: In a certain mining area in Mongolia, an 8m wide HDPE geotextile membrane with a thickness of 0.75mm was used for the anti-seepage of the chemical solution pool.
