Product Details

Chapter 1 Composition of HDPE Liner

HDPE liner is a high-performance geomembrane primarily composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin (over 95%), a thermoplastic polymer with high crystallinity and linear molecular structure. Key additives include carbon black (2–3%) for UV resistance and anti-aging, antioxidants to inhibit thermal oxidation, and processing stabilizers to ensure uniform extrusion. Minor components like slip agents enhance flexibility and workability. The virgin HDPE resin (density ≥0.94 g/cm³) provides excellent mechanical strength and chemical inertness. This precise formulation creates a homogeneous, durable sheet with exceptional impermeability, making it ideal for critical anti-seepage applications.

Chapter 3 Application Advantages of HDPE Liner

1.Superior Impermeability: Extremely low hydraulic conductivity effectively blocks liquids and gases, preventing leakage and contamination.

2.Excellent Chemical Resistance: Inert to acids, alkalis, salts, and most organic solvents, ideal for harsh industrial and environmental conditions.

3.High Mechanical Performance: High tensile/tear strength and elongation resist ground settlement, deformation, and puncture damage.

4.Long Service Life: UV-stabilized and antioxidant-formulated, with a lifespan of over 50 years outdoors.

5.Easy Construction: Lightweight, flexible, and customizable; simple cutting, welding, and laying reduce time and labor.

6.Eco-Friendly & Cost-Effective: Non-toxic, recyclable, and low-maintenance; lower lifecycle cost than clay or concrete systems.

Chapter 4 Typical Application Scenarios

1.Environmental Protection: Municipal/industrial landfills, hazardous waste storage, and sewage ponds to prevent leachate pollution.

2.Water Conservancy: Reservoirs, canals, ponds, and aquaculture tanks for water storage, seepage control, and water conservation.

3.Mining & Industry: Tailings ponds, heap leaching pads, and chemical storage tanks resisting corrosive slurries and chemicals.

4.Civil Engineering: Tunnels, highways, and basement waterproofing; landfill capping and slope stabilization.

5.Agriculture & Landscape: Artificial lakes, irrigation channels, and golf course ponds for seepage control and water management.

Chapter 5 Cooperation with Geotextiles in Application

HDPE liner and geotextiles form a protective anti-seepage system with complementary functions. Geotextiles (300–600 g/m²) act as a cushion, isolating the liner from sharp rocks, soil, or debris to prevent punctures. They also provide drainage, rapidly channeling leachate or water to avoid liner bulging and damage. Standard installation: 1) Level and compact the base; 2) Lay bottom geotextile (overlap 20–30 cm); 3) Deploy HDPE liner and weld seams; 4) Cover with top geotextile for protection. This “geotextile-liner-geotextile” structure enhances stability, stress distribution, and long-term performance, critical for landfills, mines, and large water projects.

Chapter 6 Advantages of Haoyang Environmental’s HDPE Liner

Haoyang Environmental (founded 2008, Shandong) is a national high-tech enterprise and “specialized, refined, innovative” firm. It operates 26 modern lines, including the world’s first 10m-wide 5-layer co-extrusion blow molding line with online double-sided roughening. Its CNAS-accredited lab ensures strict quality control; HDPE liners exceed national standards (puncture resistance +30%). With 30+ R&D staff and 6.8% of revenue invested in innovation, it offers customized solutions for mines, salt lakes, and hazardous waste sites. As a key supplier for national projects (e.g., South-to-North Water Diversion), Haoyang delivers reliable, high-performance HDPE liners globally.

Chapter 7 Future Development & Global Application

HDPE liner demand will grow rapidly due to stricter environmental regulations and infrastructure investment. Technological advances will focus on ultra-wide, high-strength, and composite materials (e.g., fiber-reinforced and nano-modified liners). Rising awareness of pollution prevention will drive adoption in emerging markets (Asia, Africa, Latin America) for landfills, water projects, and mining. As a cost-effective, durable, and eco-friendly solution, HDPE liner will remain the preferred anti-seepage material, supporting global sustainability and environmental protection goals.
