HaoYang Environment Unveils Next-Gen Polyester Filament Nonwoven Geotextile for High-Speed Rail Projects
Shandong HaoYang Environment Co., Ltd., a leader in geosynthetic solutions, has launched its upgraded Polyester Filament Nonwoven Geotextile, engineered to meet the rigorous demands of high-speed rail infrastructure. This advanced material, produced using spunbond needle-punching technology, combines ultra-high tensile strength with exceptional durability, making it ideal for soil reinforcement, filtration, and drainage in railway subgrades.
The product’s 160–600 g/m² weight range and anti-UV treatment ensure long-term performance in extreme climates, while its permeability coefficient of ≥1×10⁻³ cm/s effectively balances water flow and soil stability. In a recent trial on the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Rail extension, HaoYang’s geotextile reduced subgrade settlement by 30% compared to traditional materials, cutting maintenance costs by 25%.
“Our filament geotextiles are now the backbone of China’s rail network expansion,” said Mr. Wang, Business Manager at HaoYang. “By integrating nanoscale fiber alignment technology, we’ve achieved a 40% increase in puncture resistance, addressing a critical pain point in high-speed rail construction.”
The product is also gaining traction in coastal rail projects, where its corrosion resistance and saltwater tolerance mitigate erosion risks. HaoYang’s Yucheng manufacturing base, equipped with 6.3-meter-wide production lines, can supply 2 million m² monthly, ensuring timely delivery for national infrastructure programs.
