Yucheng's New Foreign Trade Powerhouse: Haoyang Environment Leads the Global Market with Digitalization

      Recently, in the polypropylene high-strength geotextile production workshop of Haoyang Environmental Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Haoyang Environment) in Yucheng City, the automated production line was running at high speed. From the loading of raw materials, the ratio adjustment, automatic weighing, to the high-precision combing and needle-punching of the fabric, the entire process was carried out seamlessly. Rolls of the formed polypropylene high-strength geotextile rolled off smoothly and were about to be sent to the African market.

    "Starting the new year with a 'good start', the company signed a contract worth 150 million yuan and has orders scheduled until July." Zhao Hengkai, the assistant general manager of Haoyang Environment, said. The company's annual production capacity is 300,000 tons, and its products cover four major categories and over 20 types, exported to 70 countries and regions around the world. The strength behind this achievement lies in "seeking productivity through digitalization".

    In 2021, Haoyang Environment introduced the digital intelligent manufacturing system (MES) and digital twin platform from浪潮 Group. The former equipped the production workshop with a "smart brain"， while the latter， through simulation， process optimization, remote diagnosis and predictive maintenance, built an adaptive production and innovation service platform. "Currently, the rate of key equipment being connected to the network has reached 100%， with data collected throughout the process and updated in real time. Managers can always keep track of the production dynamics," said Li Hongzhen， the technical director of Haoyang Environment. This system has driven an increase in overall production efficiency by 20%， a reduction in labor costs by nearly 15%， and enabled full-process data tracking， ensuring precise traceability in the production control of high-end products such as sprayed geotextile membranes. The company also introduced a fully automatic intelligent batching system， which not only increased the batching efficiency by approximately 50%， but also ensured 100% product batch stability.

     At the critical juncture when the "14th Five-Year Plan" is coming to an end and the "15th Five-Year Plan" is about to start, Haoyang Environment is accelerating its digitalization efforts and plans to achieve full-chain digital control by the end of this year. The foreign trade story of Yucheng is a microcosm of China's manufacturing industry's transformation and upgrading.
