Baiyun Reservoir Project

         Recently, the Urban and Rural Water Resources Bureau of Jinan City organized a pre-acceptance and final acceptance meeting for the completion of the Zhangqiu Baiyun Reservoir project. All participants unanimously agreed that the Baiyun Reservoir project had passed the final acceptance. 

The Baiyun Reservoir Project is located to the north of Baiyun Lake, at the junction of Gaofanzhai and Baiyun Lake. It covers an area of 4,097.24 mu. The project has been designated as a key water conservancy project in Shandong Province, one of the first batch of preferred projects for the transformation of old and new growth drivers in Shandong Province, a major water security project in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Shandong Province, and a major project in Shandong Province in 2021. The total reservoir capacity is 16.41 million cubic meters, the designed annual water intake volume is 59.76 million cubic meters, and the designed daily water supply capacity is 200,000 cubic meters. 

      In June 2020, the Baiyun Reservoir project began construction. The main construction contents included the control gate of the eastern main canal, the inlet gate of the sedimentation pool, the embankment and the barrier embankment, the reservoir embankment, the incoming water pumping station, the outflow culvert, the discharge culvert gate and the management facilities, etc. Since the project started construction, the company has supplied over 1.2 million square meters of geotextile fabric, over 600,000 square meters of geotextile membrane, and 1.2 million square meters of composite geotextile membrane for this project.
