From Texas to Shandong! Haoyang Environment reaches new heights: the 'green craftsmanship' behind the provincial 'one enterprise, one technology' R&D center

                                                   Haoyang Environment has been awarded the title of

                       "One Enterprise, One Technology" Research and Development Center of Shandong Province in 2025.

    In the wind of August, good news arrived - the "Production Technology for Environmental Protection Coarse-Surface High-Density Polyethylene Geotextile Membrane" project of Jiaoyang Environmental Co., Ltd. was officially recognized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and successfully upgraded to a "Provincial One-Enterprise-One-Technology Research and Development Center"! 

     This is another milestone following the recognition as "Dezhou's One Enterprise One Technology Research Center" in April this year. It is  also the highest recognition for Haoyang Environment's 17-year dedication to the environmental protection materials field and its continuous investment in technological innovation.

     The "one enterprise, one technology" R&D center is a platform that Shandong Province has specially cultivated to encourage enterprises to become the main body of technological innovation. It requires enterprises to have significant advantages in specific technical fields, continuous innovation capabilities, and the ability to achieve technological  transformation and application of research results.From the municipal level to the provincial level， how did Haoyang Environment manage to do this？ 

      The answer lies in the bloodshot eyes of the laboratory workers, in the constantly adjusted parameters on the production line, and even more so in the 17 years of continuous and persistent breakthroughs in "technical barriers".

     Take the "Production Technology of Environmental Protection Coarse-Surfaced High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Geomembrane" selected this time as an example - this is a seemingly "less popular" but extremely important environmental protection "must-have technology". HDPE geomembrane is the core anti-seepage material for environmental protection projects such as landfill sites, hazardous waste disposal sites, and mine restoration. Its puncture resistance, tensile strength, and anti-ultraviolet aging performance directly affect the anti-seepage effect and service life of the project. 

       Haoyang Environment's technical team has been focusing on this direction since 2010. They have collaborated with university material science departments and industry associations, and have undergone hundreds of formula adjustments and process optimizations. They have improved key components of the equipment and overcome the "anti-cracking in low-temperature environments" challenge. They have also simulated ultraviolet, acid-base corrosive environments in the laboratory for more than 15 years... Eventually, they developed a special geotextile membrane suitable for the complex application scenarios of environmental protection projects.

      From the "municipal platform" in Texas to the "provincial stronghold" in Shandong, Haoyang Environment has proven over 17 years that for private enterprises to achieve technological innovation, not only does it require the patience of "sitting on the bench", but also the courage to "be the first in the world".

       Standing at a new starting point, the blueprint of Haoyang Environment is already clear - with the provincial R&D center as the core, we will continue to tackle the "key technology bottlenecks" in environmental protection materials, making "Haoyang Manufacturing" the "Chinese label" in the global environmental protection materials sector. 

        This time, the recognition of being a provincial-level "one enterprise, one technology" research and development center is not only a testament to the past achievements, but also an expectation for the future.
