Gejiu City Solid Waste Landfill (Phase II)

To meet the hazardous waste disposal needs of the smelting industry and mitigate ecological and environmental risks, the Phase II and Phase III of the Jijie Town Solid Waste Landfill in Gejiu City will be upgraded to a hazardous waste disposal site.

The upgraded project will include a 4 million cubic meter flexible hazardous waste landfill, an 87,500 cubic meter rigid hazardous waste landfill, and is expected to dispose of 350,000 tons of low-arsenic hazardous waste and 15,000 tons of high-arsenic hazardous waste annually, creating a more compatible disposal site.
